EVENTS MANAGEMENT OFFICER

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Communications, Business or any relevant field.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in project management, administrative support, or related field.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with project management software/s.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Amenable to work onsite.

Responsibilities:

  • Directs and coordinates the process of formulating and implementing project plans, which includes tasks such as setting timelines, managing budgets, assigning responsibilities, tracking progress, and documenting all relevant information throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversees the administrative aspects and documentation of Special Projects, including managing project documentation, recording minutes of meetings, handling of expense processing, and organizing necessary travel logistics.
  • Conducts research and collects information to aid the team in executing current projects and initiatives.
  • Initiates the promotion of cooperation among various cross-functional teams including Membership and other Departments, officer committees, and others to ensure the seamless and successful execution of all special projects.
  • Daily supervision, coaching and mentoring, and continuing assessment of staff training needs.
  • Recommends training programs to address identified gaps in skills/competencies.
  • Supervises the utilization of project management tools and systems to oversee project advancement and regularly conveys updates to stakeholders in a timely manner.
